| Ali Faramarzi | |
| ALI FARAMARZI was born in 1950 in middle class family in the old district of Iamzadeh yahya of Tehran.his parents came to tehran from villages around Damavand and resided in this district.FARAMARZI to the school in that district. fear of school and punishment and especially fear of the school's old frightening building that was situated among the the tall trees formed his nightmares and they are the most personal memories that have remained in his mind. | |
| Faramarzi took refuge to the security of the imagination and reflection of these fears and imaginations today reveal themselves from the bottom of his sketch designs. the secondary school was an environment full of torture like the primary school so he joined the painting classes of Jafar Petgar before he was 19 years old.getting acquainted with a new environment and friends, whose presence was not irritating, opened a ray of hope in front of him and he decided to become a painter | |
| therefore, Faramarzi entered the sky of art and petgar was his guiding star. he continued going to secondary school but he gave it up when he was in the final year of the study and devoted himself completely to painting.during these years ,he joined a group and with the members of this group began to paint the nature and its prepectives but above all, whatever he learnt from his own experiences, developed the his style of painting and made him a self-teaching painter. | |
| the path that was paved by FARAMARZI with hardship passess through many artistic experiences trials and ends to life.he lerned from impressionist that object change their shapes in different lights. | |
| he learned from Cezanne that nature coul be abstracted into geometrical shapes.symbolism showed him the power of mental distortions.he lerned from PICASSO about architectural composition and besides all these,he was familiar with a viewpoint that would rip the art | |
| FARAMARZI's paintings are placed around three main axes of nature, city and human beings.he always wants to get nearer to the emotional contents and hidden reality behind the appearances of forms and elements of nature and man and express the same reality. | |
| He applies simplicity of nature and Man and express the same reality. HE applies siplicity and abstraction designing, tries to desplay the main and fudamental element withoout any margination, and illustrates the visual equivalents of an abstract and brief nature. his design sketches are in such form that it seems he has drawn them all in one moment and whatever sketches are in such form that it seems he has drawn them all in one moment and whatever skteches that have and architectural nature, are seen and perceived in the same way | |
| in Faramarzi's paintings, the style is not sustained and transient but form has an internal condition and seems to be lasting forever, although occasionally becomes indeterminate here and there. | |
| the form of Faramarzi's designing is like dialectic between seeing and instant perceiving of images and being constantly involved in it. A kind of involvement that seems to gobeyond the moment of decisionmaking and therefore it seems that it could cope with a single matter of years without feeling exhausted sice each image links to a new image and a fresh prespective will be opened in fornt of his eyes | |
